Landscape Restoration Weekend
The Chinati Foundation, 27–28 September 2026

Over the final weekend of June, volunteers gathered at Chinati for a weekend of restoration and land themed activities to help preserve Donald Judd's vision for the landscape. In the Saturday morning session, participants focused on removing Siberian Elms, clearing 0.1 acres of disturbed habitat over two hours, followed by Sunday's guided plant walk led and a botanical cyanotype workshop.
